August Came and Went

We moved back to California after Marcus graduated. We love it here! We are staying in Carmichael taking care of my grandparents place while they are serving a mission in Ukraine. We hadn't had Kaylie blessed yet because we wanted to be around more family. She was blessed on August 7th. She looked so beautiful in her blessing dress! 

I am so glad we waited so that we could have all the family get together!

Grandpa and Lola Jankowski brought Kaylie a walker on her blessing day! She loves this new toy! She walks all over the house in it now!

Marcus turned 26 on August 11th! We were able to spend that day and a few more in Modesto with his family. Marcus loves being home for his birthday!

Melania took some pictures of us at the park in Modesto. They turned out great! We did this photo shoot on August 13th which is just 2 days shy of 5 months for Kaylie. She is such a cutie! So photogenic! We love our little family!

Ok... Officially 5 months on August 15th! A few things about Kaylie: she is loud! - constantly making happy noises and wanting our attention, she loves walking around in her walker, rolls over onto her tummy but can't quite roll back onto her back without help, loves her parents - and takes a little while to warm up to new people, still sleeps through the night and usually on her tummy, loves bath time, has recently discovered that she can grab at everything and she does, she has started eating rice cereal (and even likes the taste of watermelon if we are looking for a good laugh), falls asleep on car rides, just a joy to have around!

Marcus and I had our 3rd wedding anniversary on August 22nd! Can't believe it! We had my parents watch Kaylie that evening. We went up to the Sacramento Temple and had a picnic in the spot where Marcus proposed to me, so that was special. Then we walked around the temple and took more pictures.  We had dessert at Leatherby's which was delicious of course! We got home to a happy baby, which was awesome! She has been very clingy to mom and dad and hasn't done well with other people so we are glad that went well.  These past 3 years have been an adventure! Love you Marcus!
