September has come and gone...

We did a few exciting things this month! We went to the American River on the 2nd just for an enjoyable afternoon. On the 3rd my Dad, Jon, Jason, Marcus, Kaylie and I went to Stinson Beach! And later on in the month we celebrated Marcus's dad's birthday with him in Modesto. Kaylie turned 18 months old on the 15th! I can't believe she is that old already!

At the American River with Grandpa Harrison, Uncle Jeff, and Uncle Jason.

Here is Kaylie with Uncle Jacob!

Kaylie and Grandma Harrison having a good time!

Kaylie loved getting her feet wet!

Kaylie at Stinson Beach playing in the water and digging with her shovel!

Marcus, Jason, and Kaylie built a castle!

Daddy and Kaylie!

Mommy and Kaylie!

Our family in front of the rocks

While exploring near the rocks Jason found some starfish!

We stopped to look at the view on our way home from Stinson Beach. Absolutely gorgeous!

Lola and Kaylie are making birthday cakes for Grandpa Jankowski's party!

Kaylie played catch with her cousins!

Kaylie is painting with Lola! Very clever use of qtips!

Kaylie was so sweet with Lolo that weekend, we just had to get a picture!

 18 months old!
Kaylie is getting cuter every day! She has perfected her "yes" but she doesn't always use it. She has learned to do a lot of neat things: putting puzzles together, learning to color, learning the names of colors and shapes, and her vocabulary is continuing to increase! She will put two or three words together sometimes to try and form a sentence. We love hearing her sweet little voice. She went to nursery at church all by herself for the first time yesterday and they said that she did great! No meltdowns! We were so proud of her. She has come a long way from being so shy.

Kaylie and Daddy playing around

Learning how to fit shapes in the box! She is actually incredibly good at this!

Silly girl!

Just being cute!

Yep, she is a girly girl!

We went to the Library and made it for story time! Kaylie loved being there with all the kids, reading the books and doing the different dances.

Kaylie is so cute! I love seeing her with her bracelets and little purse. I love the idea of painting with q-tips! I'm going to have to try that one day soon.
